These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Bitclone ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the PDF Scanner mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using PDF Scanner, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use PDF Scanner for your personal or internal business purposes on devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App except as permitted by law.
You retain all rights to the documents, images, text, and other content you scan, import, or create in PDF Scanner ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content. You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the right to scan, store, and share it. Because Your Content is stored on your device and in your own iCloud account, you are responsible for maintaining backups; we are not liable for any loss of Your Content.

PDF Scanner offers optional premium subscriptions ("PDF Scanner PRO") that unlock additional features. The following terms apply:
Subscription entitlements are managed with the help of RevenueCat. Restoring purchases is available within the App.
The free version of PDF Scanner is supported by advertising. By using the free version, you agree that we may display ads within the App. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for the content of, or any transactions arising from, third-party advertisements. Premium subscribers do not see ads.
Certain features in the free version may be temporarily unlocked by viewing a rewarded advertisement. Viewing an ad is optional; unlocking such features by ad or by subscription is at your discretion.
PDF Scanner provides text recognition (OCR), automatic naming, document-type detection, translation, and code scanning as conveniences. These features rely on automated processing and may not always be accurate or complete. You are responsible for verifying any recognized text, translation, extracted data, or scanned code before relying on it. We make no warranty as to the accuracy of these features.
The App, including its design, features, trademarks, logos, and software (excluding Your Content and third-party materials), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or branding.
PDF Scanner integrates third-party services (including Apple iCloud, Google AdMob, Google Firebase, Google ML Kit, and RevenueCat). Your use of features that depend on these services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any data or content (including your documents) will be preserved without loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, documents, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 25.00.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Content, your use of the App, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
These Terms remain in effect while you use the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gujarat, except where prohibited by applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App. Your continued use of PDF Scanner after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
